Florida
A combined package of Anhydrous Ammonia storage tank, Ammonia Flow Control Unit, and Unloading skid designed for NOx emission control at a USA Power Plant. The Ammonia storage tank has 65000lbs flooded capacity and feeds ammonia directly to the AFCU. Low watt density heaters maintain pressure in the tank. High pressure blowers (1 standby) deliver air and injected vapor ammonia to Glex designed static mixer. |
 |
Single Cycle Ammonia Vaporization and air blower skids. (Eight identical units)
Systems for single cycle plants, which included high capacity, quench air blowers to offset high temps from flue gas (eight systems total). Because of limited space in the field, Glex Inc. designed the systems as a double-decked unit. The lower section contained the quench air blowers with the corresponding VFD’s. The upper section contained the aqueous ammonia dilution and vaporization skid, as well as the injection manifold. The units were shipped to California in two sections. |
 |
Hot Flue gas Recirculation
Ammonia Vaporization Control unit unitizing hot flue gas recirculation for NOx control at South American power plant. Unit has additional heater to increase outlet temperature due to sulfur content of the gas. High temperature pressure blowers, their associated VFD, heater control panels, and instrumentation are all rated for classified area. |
